  • Yes, I am in network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Care First, Cigna, Aetna, and Optum. At this time, I am unable to take Medicaid and Medicare insurance.

  • I am practicing psychotherapy through existential personality theory approach. The therapeutic relationship based on empathy and authenticity is an essential ingredient of the existential theoretical approach. Existential Personality Theory considers the challenges a person is facing through the experience of “being in the world.” It is a holistic view which encompasses the environmental, subjective, relational, and spiritual spheres that an individual must navigate in his or her life. Existential therapeutic lens encourages the exploration of authenticity, meaning, and choice making.

  • In my practice I use a variety of evidence based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

  • I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and Association for Spiritual and Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC.) I stay up to date with the current research to be in the best position to provide evidence-based interventions in my work with clients. I am also a member of International Association of Near-death Studies (IANDS) and I have undertaken additional training in this subject matter.
